It sounds like the nurses were trying to be kind. We nurses have to assess

and evaluate everything about a patient. They might have been worried about

the possibility of post partum depression.

Yes I think you were right, I didn't really get across what I meant. That

sometimes we are so worried about things that we see things that are not

really there. I am finishing my nursing degree now, and I hope that all my

cp experiences will help me be more empathetic towards patients. thanks

Hi Kim

I believe that chronic pain and having had multiple surgeries helped me be a

more compassionate nurse.

Be very careful which area of nursing you work in, so that you don't wear

your body out the way I did.

Good luck with your nursing career. You will find that there is rarely a

dull moment.
