Guest guest Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 Welcome, please read the files section by clicking on visit your group. we used Shaklee herblax to get our dd off Miralax it's all natural and is my favorite, we had to put it in apple sauce as it looks like a dust upon crushing (all natural) we are putting a letter together to send to the FDA requesting an investigation at the momentThere are many on here that can let you know what worked for them Kirkman's chewable probiotic works greatex-lax for short termNatural Calm works quickly (vitamin shoppe) There are many dangers with PEG that they don't tell you about including hyponatremia, push lots of water and fresh lemonade to clear the kidneys. I was told to give him 2 full capfuls and he is 10 years old. It has not helped. We got an abdominal x-ray on Friday and did not show much improvement. I know my doctor will tell me to increase it. We also did one day with a dose of milk of magnesia and 1 capful of mira lax every 20 minutes for 8 doses. I started to get a bad feeling about the miralax. I googled other treatments and started to see some of the negatives about miralax. I would really appreciate any feedback with articles for me to read on the subject.
