Guest guest
How are GERD and postnasal drip related to bronchiectasis? I've had GERD and postnasal drip for a long time, though the postnasal drip (which I had as a child) went away for many years, and the GERD/heartburn had been under control with omeprazole until my urologist put me on imipramine for my MS-related neurogenic bladder. The day after I started taking imipramine, the heartburn and even full reflux came back in force. Even though I've stopped taking imipramine, the acid problems haven't gone away yet. I gather from what I've been reading that aspirated gastric reflux can contribute to bronchiectasis, as can sinusitis (which I've also had to varying degrees since childhood). But I have so many things wrong with me, it's hard to sort them all out and figure out which ones I can do something about and which ones I can't. Thanks for helping to educate me. --
