Guest guest Posted October 16, 2001 Report Share Posted October 16, 2001 Hi Rhonda & everybody, Today is Tuesday & we are leaving for Kentucky tonight, & I am not even packed. Been so busy with soccer games last few days, haven't had a chance. Thank you for reminding me of those neccessities to take, that I would have forgotten. We are leaving around 10pm tonight, my oldest son has his last soccer game today at 4:15. My sister lives half hour away from Louisville, In Radcliff, Ky, so we will be staying with her, except for Thursday night. She asked me last night if I was getting nervous, told her No, because with being so busy, haven't even had a chance to think about it. LOL. I guess that is a good thing. I will e-mail you all when I get back home, which will be after next Tuesday. Love, Becky Mulllen P.S. All I can think about is 's advice not to eat mexican food after surgery!! Guest guest Posted October 16, 2001 Report Share Posted October 16, 2001 Hi Becky, Reality didn't hit me until the nurse put the IV in my hand. ) I pray you have a safe trip and of course healthy tubes. Make sure you walk as soon as possible. It really helps the healing process and helps you feel better. Don't forget the Riopan Plus--it was a must for me. I didn't need it until 4 days after surgery, but boy was I glad I had it then. Pepto Bismol and Tums were needed too. Have a good trip and I can't wait to hear how everything turns out for you.
