I just got my newsletter from ASAP and it has information about the

conference this year. Dr. Batzdorf, Dr. Menezes, Dr. Milhorat and many

others will be there. Topics include, history of sm/acm, basic research

studies, children with acm/sm, rehab research, transplantation

possiblities, management of spasticity, pain research and research

updates. And there's so much more. They have 14 dr's listed as

speakers so far...... It is going to be in Fla this year.

If you want more information go to thier website.

I wanted to include parts of the newsletter. ASAP was flooded with

calls and thier website had contacts for 2 days that equaled a normal

month. Dr. Phil Donohue, a syndicated health columnist responded to a

question from someone about syringomyelia...he mentioned ASAP by name

and spoke highly of it. Since then they have been contacted by doctors

from South Africa, from Rome and from Japen. Word is spreading and

maybe education will follow.

One last thing....two really. June 5 is the annual get together in

Diamond Caverns Resork park in Kentucky. I wish I would have known

earlier but there's no way I could make it. I'm going to plan on it

next year for sure. For more information contact Kinsey

.

The ASAP Sy-ring-go-my what shirts are ready to order. Go tot he

website for more information. I can't wait to have mine.

toodles for now

Connie

If you want any more information just contact me, I'll do what I can.
