Guest guest
Paige, thanks for writing before you got mean! ) Some medicines have temporary affects when you first start taking them. And maybe your doctor is right; it may go away if you can hold on. But if you don't want to hold on if it goes on for a while, tell your doctor! You are the patient and have the rights! Margaret, Mom to the monsters A long vacation Hi Ya'll, It's been a little bit since I've checked in. I went to the Dr's office on tuesday and my bloodpressure was sky high. the bottom was right at 110. So good-ol-doc Cole put me on a med for it. and I've slept ever since. When ever I do get up to go potty, I'm hateful to anybody I come across. And I passed out in the hall. I swear it feels like I'm on a long vacation to lala land. I'm not a hateful and mean person.Thats not normaly me. I still hurt. My back is killing me from all this laying around. My husband called the Doc, and he said that it was minor side effects that would go away in time. It doesnt feel so minor to me. I'm writing now before I take my next dose , just so I will be awake enough to hit the right keys. I'm so far behind on reading my posts. How is everybody? I feel like I've neglected my best friends. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Margaret, I love your user name. Mom to the monsters. It reminds me of my kids. I hope all of these side effects do go away. We are moving next week. I cant climb the stairs here any more. I have 12 steps to climb just to get into the house and 12 more when I do laundry. So we sold this house and are moving to my Familys old farm house out in the country at the foot of the mountain. Everythings on one level and will be easier on my legs. Anyway, now that I've written you a book, I'll get back to what I started to say. I have to be able to pack and get things ready to move. So I'm hoping these problems will go away soon. Thank you for responding so quickly. By the way, it's so early! where do you live? Paige
Guest guest
Hi Paige. I live in NJ. I'm glad you are able to move somewhere where you can walk without the steps. We live in our familys old farmhouse also; my paternal GREAT grandparents built it and sold it to my maternal grandparents when they got married. It's funny that my parents hooked up! So, when grandmom went into the nursing home about 4 years ago, we bought the house. She died in September. But my mom lives right next door to me. As a matter of fact, I just yelled over a good morning to her; she is on her porch drinking her coffee and reading her paper. My boys love being that close to " gaky " as they call her and the love harrassing my dad too! it's a nice thing to live in a house where I basically grew up. Actually, this is the house I came home to when I was born as my daddy was in the service and mom lived here with her parents. I love tradition!! Guest guest
Me too. I'm a huge family person. I lost my Mom kinda suddenly in Oct. 2002 to cancer. It was a brain tumor. I don't know why I asked where you lived, I all ready knew . The fog again. The Farm wher I'm moving has been in our family, (my Dads side) Since before the Civil War. The North and the South have both fought on it. We even have a cannon ball that was found in a fence row my Great grand Paw was cleaning out about 100 years ago. It's so beautiful there. A lot of history. Paige In east Tennessee
