I’d have to search again, but I do know in my reading lately that using puffers such as seretide etc can actually increase the risk of infection... If anyone interested, I see if I can dig it out.

Now, Seritide's an inhaler I'm not familiar with. I'll have to google that myself.

I have read that there is dispute among med professionals, that it can possibly incr possibility of an infection! However, I do use it 1-2 puffs morning, and at night. I only use it when I feel VERY congested and can’t shift stuff because too weak/tired/exhausted from coughing already... (Usually I cough copious quantities, I don’t need much encouragement!). It is a steroid, so rinse/gargle every time immediately. (will encourage Candida)

There seems to be disagreement as to whether inhaled steroids can exacerbate osteoporosis – perhaps would if heavy and long-term use of...
