Guest guest
OT, but what does the Welsh bit mean? My dad is from near Aberdare, making me a cross breed Welsh Yorkie (mum is from Yorkshire, and dad moved there when he was a child), but as my family moved from South Wales to Yorkshire so long ago - about 50 years ago - none of them speak it as it was before the resurrection of the Welsh language. my Nanna can understand it to a certain extent, and knows how to pronounce it, but it's all passive rather than active knowlege. A shame, relaly, as my dad's parents looked after me when my parents were at work when I was small (mum's parents still lived in Cheshire at the time), and had they been able to speak Welsh, and spoken it with and atound me, I could have been brought up bilingual - I believe that you can never speak too many languages!JennTha can tek t'lass outta Yorkshire...! Don't brand me, don't classify me, don't tell me what to wear. I'll be who I want to be, and I'm proud to be me.Subject: ongoing chest infection and low peakflowTo: asthma Date: Wednesday, 7 July, 2010, 22:57 Hi all sorry i have not written for a while, wondering if any of you have suffered from a chest infection which has not responded to antibiotics at all when I saw my GP a week ago she took my peakflow was 330 which is normalish for me. but it has since dropped to 140 how low should it go before I see them again as i have been battling this for more then a month they upped my asthma meds which is Ventolin and Seretide my Seretide is now 2 puffs three times aday and my ventolin is 3 puffs 5 times aday I seem to be constandly fighting for breath when I lay down I have dreadful chest pain which makes me cry from the pain alone, I phoned my Emergency services for help and they said I was not a prioty as my peakflow was then 190 has anyone else experienced this at all, could it be one of the inhalors making the problem worst?
