Guest guest
Sandie, I'm afraid to try to skate because they don't stay under me. But, put me on a washing machine lid, (Old style) and I can be pulled or pushed on that thing while doing spins. It's fun. My kids did it a lot. They liked it especially going down a hill. On second thought, I'll stay by the fire. I know I'm a party pooper (and, that isn't elephant poop) Time was when I wasn't. I did anything the kids did. Hugs back at you and my hands are warm. It sure is easier not having to shovel it all. And, I got my hair cut. Actually got quite a bit accomplished on my day off It's a good feeling. N-o-w do you want to come out and play? The temp must have risen to a balmy 25 again today. The snow stopped around noon and the sun peeked out for a bit. Guest guest
And all we got out of it was rain, rain, rain. And if it snows tomorrow, you and I know, our roads and sidewalks will be real skating rinks. Ok, Want to skate? Guest guest
Imogene- My son, , went with some friends to an outdoor ice skating rink tonight. I haven't been there but I do know several people go frequently. I have fond memories of sledding. Never used a washing machine lid but open to new ideas. I would think elephant poop would be slick and something to slide in.. ewwwww...visual here. lol I'll stick with snow, the white version! Nothing yellow! Thanks for the warm handed hugs...feels so nice. Good thing about giving a hug is you get a hug in return. Consider yourself hugged. Goodnight Imogene- Sandie -- Re: Imogene and Dena OT Sandie, I'm afraid to try to skate because they don't stay under me. Guest guest
Hi Sandie Sorry, No I do not want to come out and play yet. Call me in July and then I'll be there. It never did rain here. Just sort of overcast. We could even turn off the heater on the pups for a while today. Still cold to me though. Guest guest
Hi Dena- Well, in July and August we get temps in the high 90's to 100 and with a heat index figured in it could feel well over 100. Hot and humid...humid and HOT! Guess I shouldn't say that too loud as may not want to come over from Scotland next year. I saw on the news that Tuesday or Wednesday night our low is supposed to be 9. Ya, 9. Only 9. Poor said...that's bloody cold! I really have enjoyed corresponding Dena. Take care and here's a hug for ya!
