Desire is the gift of the ego, and not something I particularly want to have. " Everything happens for you/me " is that true? Maybe I chose the ego scripts I am now watching to keep me away from Love. What happens is not for me (Love) its for my ego, to defend it's specialness. However, I can choose to listen to the Voice for Love so that what is used as an attck on Love, can be used to remember Love. Sicknesses like cancer, genetic diseases, HIV happen for my lovely ego, so that I can prove that Love does not exist. " Sickness is a defense against the truth " (W.pI.136.7) " Each day, and every minute in each day, and every instant that each minute holds, you but relive the single instant when the time of terror took the place of love. And so you die each day to live again, until you cross the gap between the past and the present, which is not a gap at all. Such is each life; a seeming interval from birth to death and on to life again, a repetition of an instant gone by long ago that cannot be relived. And all of time is but the mad belief that what is over is still here and now " (T.26.V.13:1)

Guest guest
Thoughts are opposite to reality. And vice versa. A mirror shows the images reversed. Hence the Work's " Turnaround " nel " Carson Boyd " wrote: > > > > When the mind believes what it thinks, it names what cannot be named and > tries to make it real through a name. The world is a mirror image of your mind.
