Guest guest
As I have mentioned before, I went out of state. I contacted the 02 Company in the town where I would be visiting. Told them of my visit and my needs. Then I faxed them my Rx for 02. I told them that I used "E" tanks and would be bringing them. They said I could drop my empties off, and use their filled tanks and every other day or two switch out. They would have mine all ready and filled for my trip home. It worked out great. I just used my portable tank nite and day on my trip. All went well. kiss kiss, ~Ginger~
Guest guest
Also, I learned that it's a good idea to have a copy of a prescription for your oxygen whenever you go anywhere. I was told that if the car should break down or something happened that we were delayed getting home...if you have a prescription, you can look up companies that deliver in the phone book....you would need a prescription or they won't deliver oxygen. Made sense to me and I thought this was a good idea. This is soooo true. I ran into this problem when Greyhound Bus Lines lost my extra tanks while I was traveling. I raised the roof there in Memphis Tennessee, and they called a local 02 company and we faxed my Rx (that I carry with me always for just this kind of emergency) and they were "ny on the spot"with 2 extra tanks for the remainder of my journey. And the bus line paid for it all. Always good to keep that Rx handy at all times. kiss kiss, ~Ginger~
Guest guest
Hi Group, My O2 Co. has a concentrator that's only 17 lbs. They loan it out for vacations and week- end trips. Its just a miniature of the big one. My Daughter has to get it out of the car but it's nice to have a small one. Guest guest
I'm happy to report that I found a company that will deliver a base tank of liquid oxygen to Tarrytown, NY so I can attend my sister in laws party! I'm really happy. They told me it will cost about $200...I don't know if my insurance company will pay for it....but I'll deal with that later. I haven't gone anywhere for quite awhile...it'll be fun to go...the party is being held in a real castle!! I'll be able to be a queen for the night!!
