Hi ya'll,

First fo all I want to thank my Lord and savior for the healing he's

doing on my lungs. Second, I want to thank you all for your support and

words of encouragement. I have had some pretty down times and you all

have been here for me, that is something that doesn't go un noticed. I

will be forever grateful.

My other good news is I had an apt on Aug 29th for a court hearing to

get SS. Well, yesterday I got papers in the mail, they approved me

without a hearingf just based on my drs statements and my medical

records. Praise the Lord!!! They even went back as far as Jan of

2004!! I dont know how long it will take to get my checks, ( anyone

know?) but I'm praising God for His many blessings he has bestowed on

my this weekend. So agaon, thank you all,

Much love and prayers,

Vicky IPH/PF 4/06

Vicky,

I am so glad that you got your disability approved. If you get back pay, which I did, I think... if I remember rightly....that you can have a tax person put that back over the years that it covers so that you don't have to report it all in one calender year. I also found out that in our state at least that there is a discount on property tax if you are disabled. Everything helped. I was bringing home half the bacon and when I got too sick to work, it really put us in a bind.

I hope that you will continue to show improvement and that God will give you many years here on this earth. I pray that things settle down for awhile. This has been a hard few months. Take a deep breath..easy for me to say, huh?....take care of you.

Vicky I am thrilled for you. I am pretty sure you will get retro pay from the time you applied. It shouldn't take that long to receive your checks. You can call your local SS office and they can tell you exactly how much you will be receiving and when.

Yes indeed God has smiled on you. My heart just gets so happy when I hear His children giving

Him the praise. He is Worthy. God's continued Blessings...

i don't know about where you live Vicki but i was approved for

disability in january and will not see the first payment til August.

was told there would be no back pay for that time frame because that

is the standard waiting period. i asked my dr why that was and he

said they were hoping we died in that amount of time so they didn't

have to pay us at all...now aint that something for your dr to relay

to ya! gotta luv our government!

,

I had a hard time getting disability. It was before the biopsy. I had to appeal and finally get a lawyer....but, I did get back pay from the date I first signed up. I did not have a waiting period after I was approved.
