The first ever autism-friendly performance of a Broadway show in Houston will be Disney's landmark musical THE LION KING, on Saturday, July 28th at 2:00 p.m. Now in its 15th year, over 64 million people worldwide have come to discover the wonder, the majesty, and the truly one-of-a-kind experience that is THE LION KING. For this special performance, accommodations will be made, including a supportive audience environment, designated quiet areas, adjustments to lights and sound, and online resource materials. Tickets are being offered through the Hobby Center at affordable prices: Orchestra and Front Mezzanine A-G, and Boxes - $59.50 Rear Mezzanine H-L, Front Gallery A-E - $45.50 Rear Gallery F-O -- $24.50 Tickets go on sale SUNDAY, MAY 6 at 11 AM and will be available for purchase on the internet, by phone, or in person at the Hobby Center Box Office.
