These readjustments become the norm as we make not only large decisions, such as career choices, but also those that are less complicated, such as driving to the supermarket. Hearing that your child has autism devastates you, and then puts you on a mission. I would think about the future and just start to cry, as life for RDI Mom and Certified Consultant, Fantilli my son would be so uncertain. But, in that time, I also began to focus. My mission: have him ready to start school in two years. He was two years and eight months old. I was introduced to RDI about a year and a half after the diagnosis. We went to a four day parent training session and Dr. Gutstein just amazed and inspired my husband and me. Everything seemed clear as to what we needed to do. I had the best consultant ever - Palasti. She was inspiring, motivating, kind and thoughtful. She helped our family so much. I can't thank her enough. read more...
