Guest guest
Boy I know what your talking about...work hard to become a pc technician, microsoft certified professional worked twice as hard as any of the men to end up with less money and even less respect. I kept everything going while my super and 2 of the techs I trained...(yes I was even training new men to find out after 3 years they were starting out with more money than I was making after 3 years even tho I was a single mom with 6 kids!) I was hurt first in a very bad car accident while the driver even went to court so he didn't have to pay the large ticket he got...the only thing the judge even asked me if " I " had MY insurance paid up. After 6 months of physical therapy I took a job as a pc tech so I could support my children better. After 5 years of very heavy lifting and another car accident on the job I was told not to come back to work until I was 100 percent and I lost my house and everything else. SSD lost my application..which took me 2 years to find out that they couldn't find my initial applic. and I had to reapply and lost 2 years of payment...I am trying to fight for that tho. It finally went through in feb but we only get a total of 978.00 a month for me and five kids. (My 18 year son left home and hates me because he doesn't really believe I live with chronic pain and how dare I loose the house and do this to him!!!) Life really sucks...I can never remember a time I did not live in pain...if it was not abuse by my parents, it was abuse by my husband and then my other couple of long term relationships. Just as soon as I got smart enough to live by myself, this back and neck injury happened. You finally get to the point that you won't let anyone abuse you anymore and you have the world treating you like you are a piece of crap. I guess I'm really bitter right now and not the best person to lend support to anyone but at least you know you are not alone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
