My son is 9 years old, and has tethered cord.He was diagnosed and de-tethered at

5 yrs old. ( well, just debulked because his nerves were too tangled up in his

lipoma to " safely " de-tether, so he remained tethered)

His neurosurgeon here in Charlotte, NC is Dr. Henegar. I was wondering if

anyone has used this Dr. and what there opinion of him is.

OR, what Dr. you do recommend near Charlotte.

I think you might want to check out Duke Hospital at UNC at chapel hill. I have

heard mention of them when reviewing tcs research on line.

Good luck.
