Guest guest
Well, All You August Gals, We all my brain has a little problem due to O2 Deprivation... So " Happy Birthday to You " etc.etc. God Bless and keep you, and give many many more years to praise Him for His Grace and Mercies. Peggy 09/04 ipf Sher, Diane, Peggy, Barb, etc.... I also have an August birthday as does Vicky. We both celebrate on the 18th! dianequinlan@... wrote: You know, Sher...I'm younger than you, but reading your response.....I felt like you were talking about me, too! What day in August is your birthday?? Mine is the 27th. -- Diane Quinlan dianequinlan@... --------- Re: Love You It Does not matter the numbers Peggy, What a great way to start the morning-with your upbeat post! I love thinking of angel's wings brushing by me AND you are so right, we could die tomorrow from an accident or something unrelated to PF. I am 50 and lucky to have had many more years than your sister and although odds are I won't be ever pushing 80, I too have had a great life and I need to quit focusing on numbers. God bless your cheery heart Peggy- Peggy wrote: Dearest Barb & Arlen, I can tell you what it feels like to be 63 almost 64.. WONDERFUL.. I went Grocery shopping and did NOT get hit by a car. Did not get high jacked.. Did not get robbed.. BUT I did get 345.00 worth of groceries and felt so cute riding around on that little cart in the store. My daughter thought I had lost my mind and I felt 32.. Always 32. Just don't look in the mirror. Healthy (just can't breath) Happy. Now I can go into the kitchen and look in my pantry and Thank the Good Lord for his Grace and Mercies.. My husband has been doing the shopping so there were things NEEDED. I sure took care of that.. LOL So being 63 is Great.. I love my life, hose up the nose and all. As soon as we get my hubby straightened out we are going somewhere. gotta think bout that.. I had a sister that died at 28, had two little boys and was 8 mos pregnant with another boy. I was 12, I didn't think I could live without her, but life does go on.. she still crosses my min d and I cry for her but I KNOW she is with my Mother and they are celebrating. I'm looking forward to my Home Coming party too.. But I have learned to Thank the Lord for all things. My husbands brother died when the Skyway Bridge fell in the early 80's he was 43 just driving to work. No I am not in denial, I honestly am not afraid of death. Not looking for it but am living each day like I have 50 years left.. I can feel the brush of Angle wings. God Bless you each and every one... Peggy 09/04 ipf Hey, Arlen: I know what you mean about being angry about not being able to grow as old as you once thought you would. I am 48 fixin' to turn 49 and at first I was angry at people in their sixities complaining about not being able to live much longer. I thought damn, I am never going to see sixty and there they are complaining. I have asked several people personally what it feels like to be in the sixities or seventies and no one has ever answered my question. I would love to know what it feels like, because I probably won't even see my mid fifties. But, like you, I am over it and have also been reading the obits. Lots of younger people than me are dying. I should be grateful for the time that I have had. Perhaps I have fulfilled the plan that God had for me and I will go on to a new future when I die. Hang in there Arlen, it has gotten better for me and I am sure it will for you. It is awful t say, but I am almost looking forward to the end, because I suspect a new beginning. I don't especially like my prognosis, but guess I'll have to live with it (ha ha). All my best,.........Arlen How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Yahoo!
