Guest guest
Hi ya'll.... Well I soent most of Friday at the University of Michigan, had a echo on my heart done and a spiral CT scan with Dye. They told me I couldnt take my metformin for my diabeties for 48 hours, then to call my dr firdt and get a blood test to make sure dye is out of my kidneys . In the meantime, my sugar is creeping up, was 366, I'm still takinf Actos and Glipizide so that helps some. I go back next Friday for a full Pulminary Function test and then see the dr. I'm not sure what else he can tell me, except maybe about the bleeding in my lungs. Now, as for Social Security, has anyone here gotten it for haveing IPF? Or has anyone been turned down, I applied and have my hearing August 29th, only thing SS asked my atty for was proof that I was terminal, which was easy to get. Also, one more thing, I was on 40mg of Presinone, then they weaned me to 30, now down to 20, I'm having a little more chest pain, is that normal comming down from steroids? Anyway, thats all for now, Love and prayers to you all...... Vicky IPF/IPH 4/
