Hi ,

My daughter has had body trembling for a few years now but we haven't seen it

since her decompression surgery Jan99. Mind you, she may have it during sleep,

when it often happened, but I'm sure we miss alot if it still occurs.

I remember about 1 week after her sugery this past January seeing her leg

tremble while she was sitting in a pram. My wife's seen her tremble many times

but this was the first time I'd seen it. We, including my daughter, were all

looking at her leg tremble and she told us she couldn't make it stop, until we

asked her to move her leg. Once it stopped, she rested her leg again and it

started shaking again and had to move her leg for it to stop once more. That was

it.

She's had leg pains and weakness too. Would complain of legs being sore or tired

after only walking a bit. Seems to be a bit better now. I've heard many people

on this list with leg problems including weakness, shaking and pain.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Eurico. It does help. It's interesting that you bring up pain,

too. My legs often ache - in fact, they ached last night, a lot, and I

wasn't doing anything but sitting.

It's also interesting that your daughter's shaking was alleviated when she

moved the limbs -- this morning, the shaking in my legs would be most

prevalent when I stood still or a little bit when I sat down, and less so

while I was walking.

They generally felt very weak, too. Since this morning, it's gotten much

better, as has the headache I woke up with and the aching in my arms and

legs. Weird Chiari.

Thanks again.
