Peggy,

I am sorry that the Inogen is not working for you. I suppose they would not allow you to have that for outings and a concentrator with humidifier bottle for home...huh

I know what you mean about the dryness. I know immediatly when my bottle needs water. It will cause throat infections. Bacteria thrives in that dry cracking throat. And your recent use of Prednisone makes you a sitting duck! Get to the doc and get on antibiotics!

I took Bob's advice and got a backpack with wheels. Took it to church Sunday and it was GREAT! It held 2 M6 tanks (which is what it takes to get me through Bible Study and Worship Service) my bible, purse contents and a bottle of water. I had a few people ask if I had packed my lunch! It was so much easier. I just can not carry anything anymore!

Please get well! Joyce

Hi Peggy. Thanks for inquiring about me...Yes, rehab is going well. I walked 20 min on the treadmill at 1.7 and did 15 min on recumbent stepper. My stats are holding 93 -97 so all at least sounds well! I'm so short of breath though. Any exertion and I'm panting.

The gals at rehab here are simply terrific. Exceptionally attentive...in fact I sometimes wish they wouldn't be so "chatty". Just let me do my thing. I am sore after ward. Between the fibromyalgia and the arthritis I think I've been hit by a truck.

I've been reading the board and there you are with your sweet concerns and prayers. You and Ginger with your prayers are so supportive. So are others of course.

Hope you are having a good day today. hugs. Sher

That was supposed to be my arm.. Is your heart rate a lot higher?? You are probably just out of shape for that kind of WORK. They would have to shoot me, I can NOT do steps. I don't know what has happened to my joints or bones but they don't want to work. Any how I'm proud of you. Next thing we know you'll be running a marathon.. Take care and be careful.. God Bless... Peggy... I'm not doing 'steps' as such...I sit down with legs and arms out in front of me and work both at the same time, back and forth. I don't know about my heart rate. I'm still so new to all this I get one question and forget another! LOL.

I did my exercises at home today but won't go back to rehab tomorrow again. I'm simply to sore. I'm not entering a marathon any time soon, I'll tell ya that! That would be a barrel of laughs for sure. However, the exercise does feel good. I'm glad to do what I can do.

Hugs and blessing to you too Peggy. Sher ipf 5-06

I know what you mean I could only go for 7 sessions. Sure wish I had had an instructor that knew what they were doing. I may go to Shands rehab for a while. Have a good night...Peggy 09/04 ipf

<no subject>

Last Nov. had a laminectomy. Then about three months ago he startedhaving pain again. so he had an MRI and the DR's office called and set up aconsultation appointment for today then said a minor surgery for Friday.About an hour.. Well when he got there today the Dr. said no surgery butwants him to go to PT and lose a bunch of weight. ( I've been telling himhis problem is weight but you know how a spouses word is listened to. ) Heneeds Fred's wife to be his chef. I think food has been his comfort in allthis He has been so strong for the kids and the Grands. SO it looks like ourcrises is over for this go round.. But I must give all the "Thank yous andPraise to the Lord.."I can't thank my group enough. Thank you for caring."SCREAMING FROM 10:AM UNTIL 10:02AM Friday"God Bless... Peggy 9/04 ipf
