dear Vikki,

Your HMO should be directing any and all questions to the NSG or neurologist,

about why and ll of that. Not towards you.

The reason they want to know why a CT scan has not been done is because they are

not Dr.s and they are ignorant .

Ask around. You'll find that many ,many HMOs are illegally putting many of the

pressures of finding info out for them , onto the patient, when indeed it is

their job to obtain it from the Dr.s.

We have been there, and I see my friends , and some family fall for it on a

weekly basis.

I can't quote the laws for any given state,as they might be different.

But i can say I have seen some HMO's act just as shrewdly as some insurance

adjusters, after a car accident.

Wanting to keep you mentally distracted with proving all of your problems or

injuries , yourself, and have you chasing down tons of info, that is their job

to do, but as long as they keep you doing it, you still don't call a lawyer.

And when you believe just a little too much of their trustworthyness one day,

you breakdown and sign off , of a settlement.

Only later to find from your attorney friends, that you could have settled out

of court for ten times the amount that you did.

Certain companies and people are ******* snakes !

That's a fact. Whether it's caniving you into staying away from an attorney by

keeping you distracted with all these imaginary tasks, or real ones that they

pile onto you, when it is actually their job, or just outright laziness,

and incompetence, that causes them , for some reason, to make people do all the

legwork , and retrieving information.

The worst line always seems to beg9in with " you need to... " or " what you need

to do... " , some times these are inoccent requests, but many times, not.

I can't stress enough. Know your rights, and the laws. Or.. " You need to go find

out about this...... " etc.

Terry
