Guest guest
WOW...to the guy who is 60 years old with IPF....is this your FIRST post? I couldn't figure out if this was a joke or what....you certainly have alot on your mind. This is a support group, like Joyce said earlier....the one thing I wanted to say to you is that the physicians don't tell you when your disease will take your life because THEY DON'T KNOW! NO one knows....why do you give all this power to the physicians?? Many of us know what our tests show..it is important to be knowledgeable about our conditions....but we do this because we advocate for ourselves...not because we don't trust anyone in the medical field. And lastly, it was very offensive to me to read what you wrote about committing suicide. I am grateful for every day I have....I believe that you are, too. I come to this group because everyone understands...they understand the good and bad days...they understand the frustration of doctor visits, tests...dealing with oxygen and concentrators....and just getting thru the day. So, I can't figure out...are you really someone with IPF?? Maybe that is your way to deal with problems....be macho...act like you have control over everything....but if that is what you think....then YOU don't understand..... --Diane Quinlan dianequinlan@...
