Guest guest
I strongly encourage everyone to attend this hearing and to give public testimony. Truthfully there are very few people who testify in comparison to how high the need is. It is usually the same people who testify. We need new faces. The legislature needs to hear the impact that these services have on people. They need to know that these services are life lines for many. I cannot express enough how important it is to go to these hearings and testify. Just tell your story. You only have three minutes. It is crucial for us to do this if we expect any chance to keep the services we have let alone add any new services. If I can help in any way to assist you with your testimony, just let me know. Note that Charge #5 and Charge #9 are of particular interest to families affected by autism and other developmental disabilities. I know late July is a common time for vacations, but if you're going to be in town this could be a very interesting and informative session. Again, sorry to those of you who are getting this twice. I'm using two different lists. Ann H. Ann Hart Autism Society of Greater Austin P. O.
