Wanted to give everyone an update on what is going on and the work being done to get y'all tools to do informed Medicaid advocacy.

On Tuesday May 8th at 10:30am at the Capitol (2nd floor at the Senate Chamber steps) there will be a MMM Texas kick-off Press Conference. (We know y'all been working hard. This a media event to send message to public and policymakers)

Will send Press Release Monday.

We now have 103 state and local MMM Texas Supporters.

The MMM Texas brochures (English and Spanish) have been updated. Will be available electronicly next week.

The MMM Texas petition has been updated. (Minor changes keep getting signatures)

The MMM Texas website will go live Monday.

There will be an 800 # so people throughout the state can record the good, the bad and the ugly of Texas Medicaid.

Presentations on MMM Texas has been done at various conferences.

There is a MMM Texas Facebook page as well as a MMM El Paso Facebook page.

El Paso, Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth have active local meetings. We need other cities to hold meetings. If your interested please get in touch with us.

All this work is being done by commited Medicaid advocates. It has come together in time for Tuesdays kick off.
