Guest guest
If you live anywhere near North Central Texas, you might want to check this out: http://www.npitx.org/npHome.aspx The nonPareil Institute, a nonprofit 501©(3) corporation, is dedicated to providing technical training to students who have been diagnosed with autism. The programs at nonPareil are technology-based and make use of artistic software, code generation products, 3D animation studio tools, digital sound applications and other creativity enabling tools. The focus of these programs will be to prepare these individuals for the possibility to enter into employment at some point in their future. We help them learn teamwork, create a sense of community, and achieve fulfilled lives. Our Vision We have seen that many individuals affected by autism have assessable, trainable and often superior technical abilities just waiting to be tapped. nonPareil has the people with the skills and motivation to train them in the latest software technologies. We envision ever-expanding programs that are not often made available to those outside of a university or professional setting. Art, music, mathematics, electronics, mechanics are a few potential areas of training, based on the needs and abilities of our students. Imagine a purpose-built facility with many professionally trained and uniquely minded students. Just sit back and think of the kinds of unique works that will be produced over time.
