9-1-1: Urgent/Routine YQ'S

Speaking of " urgent " or " routine " hit confirmations. I had a neighboring

county call to confirm a warrant. She really didn't know what she was doing.

I DID confirm the warrant via phone and asked her if she was going to also

send a YQ. She asked if she should. I advised her she should to CYA. They

had the offender already at their unit on other charges. It took over an

hour to get her YQ. And I'll be darned if she didn't send it as an " URGENT " .

Of course, by that time I was busy. Sometimes I " wish " we were ALL on the

same page.......
