HHSC covers a LOT - some of which is DARS and DADS as well as MHMR and CPS/APS,

also Medicaid - I heard where they want to cut Medicaid payments to doctors by

10% which will mean fewer doctors and they are already hard to find!

Although not under this, but school districts are slated to get huge cuts - my

school district, under the proposed first draft budget, would get $35,000,000

LESS - that's 35 MILLION.

This affects all of us and I am just concerned that our kids are going to be the

one short changed.

Hopefully, the final draft will be better - let's hope it's not worse!
