Ah, yes. Got to love the )(#* & $@#() fibro. My husband took over the bills

about 1 1/2 years ago. And not only does he do the bills, the mail no longer

comes to the house, but a PO Box. I 'lost' the bills in between the box on the

desk and the mailbox when I picked them up. It's been hard, but know what you

are feeling. Just the worry of the bills drove me nuts. Helped some with my

stress when I no longer had to take care of it. Hang in there. Thank god you

have a wonderful husband like mine who will do those kind of things for us when

we can't do them ourselves! Lynn

fibro fog

Alright, here is a horrible story about fibro fog!!!!!!!!!!!! I came home

from vacation and realized I had not paid my phone bill so one day I didn't have

any phone (I owed $200). So, a few days later, I ran out and paid $100 of it.

They didn't turn it on for a few days so I thought because it wasn't the full

amount, they didn't turn me on. So, I had no internet service, which is the

only reason I kept my phone. I HATE a telephone! I know, weird. Anyways, I

then realized that I was also 2 weeks late paying my electric. (I had been $800

overdue with my electric so they set me up on a plan where I pay my monthly bill

plus $50, ON TIME, and they wouldn't shut me off). SO, I ran out to pay my

monthly portion of that , which is $179. Well, 3 days later, the electric man

comes and turns our electric off. Because it was 2 weeks late and it was a set

up deal, they shut me off. My mother let me use her credit card and I paid that

($860). double ugh. So, I am up and ready to go. However, out of this mess, I

cried and told my husband that from now on, when a bill came, I would put it in

a box and set it aside for him and then when he gets paid, he does the bills. I

cannot do them any longer. i don't remember anything. I am horrible and I tell

you this because I know, if anyone is sympathetic to my plea, you would be.

Thanks for listening.

I sure do have a good husband. He wasn't even mad at me when the electric

got turned off. What a guy!

LOL!

The other night I wanted to change channels on the tv set, and I picked up

a cigarette lighter and flicked it in the direction of the tv. It took me a

few seconds of sheer befuddlement before I realized what I was doing wrong,

lol!

Hi Cam!

I handle the bills and the bookkeeping... that's ONE of my specialties... I've

always liked playing with numbers. If my hubby gets his hands on it then (1)

he'll forget something, yes I have the better memory and (not or) (2) he'll

freak that we pay so much for something and want to reduce or cancel it.

It scares him to write a check (he doesn't trust he can do it right) so much he

won't even write a check. He handles cash only. And rarely does he use a

credit card... mostly over the Internet and with MY insistence (I'd be at work

when on opportunity comes he better take advantage of). We love to shop the

internet but I am usually the one " paying " for things.

He has offered to take over the bill paying process and I always looked shocked

and say " what, take over my fun! " *G*

:o)
