Guest guest
I really hate feeling like this when the weather is so beautiful.I should really be enjoying this since it seems to be so rare thisweek. I am trying to avoid taking another ten days of antibiotics.I am watching if it gets worse, I know if I start to feel feverish, that I will get into the Doctor, DONT WORRY! is there any change of color in your sputum? As soon as I start to feel those changes..such as you described..I head right for my arsenal..I know better than to wait.. My dr isnt always so readily available to me and for this reason allows me to keep anti's on hand when these infections start. Guest guest
Yes I agree with you, but since I only have State insurance, they dont want to pay for a trip to the ER. It costs too much and they could care less about my health. If I could afford any other insurance It surely would not be this one. It stinks but it is better than being, without. I will make it through the weekend and I will get a hold of someone on monday and get to the Doctor or our urgent care to seek Medicial attention. I am doing Ok. I appreciate your concern, It nice to know that someone cares about my health nyzki Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Nyzki, Doesn't your doctor have someone on call for nights and weekends? If not, I think I would consider the emergency room. You don't want this to get out of hand. MarilynCreate a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
Guest guest
No he doesnt, Its a small clinic that is only open during the week. And, as I mentioned in my earlier post, my insurance has sent me letters telling me that Bronchitis is not seen as a emergency and to go to my regular Doc or urgent care of course which is only open during the week. nyzki Nyzki Nyzki Nyzki !!! This isnt " bronchitis"..this is " BRONCHIECTASIS " ..a HUGE difference !!!!!!!!!!! You need to talk to your doctor when you see him and get a SPECIFIC diagnosis..you WERE dx'd w/Bronchiectasis, correct?? oh my dear friend..this is too serious for you to be sitting there suffering cause of a confusion of diagnosis. Infections from Bronchiectasis make us spiral down so fast..I pray this doesn't turn into pneumonia before you get a chance to see your dr Sandie Never Look Down on SomeoneUnless You're Willing to Help Them UpCreate a Home Theater Like the Pros. Guest guest
Yes I was diagnoised with Bronchiectasis, and they know this too. But everytime I have to go in to see the Doctor, it is usually for regular appointments. But, when it is a emergency it is due to brochitisis. I get my usual supply of antibioics. Usually Augmentin and I am fine till the next bout of infection hits me. And by the way I have a pumonolgist who tells me to see my regular Doctor as well when I am feeling sick. Even though it is mostly due to my lungs. Can you see my frustration here? If I lived in a big city I know that I could have an open prescription for antibiotics for I had one when I did live in a bigger city. Small town Docs dont know everything, since where I live is mostly a retirement town alot of the Doctors, here cater to the Older folks. they are still lacking in the latest medical procedures. Alot of people have to go elsewhere for certain medical things, for down here they are not equiped to handle it. nyzki Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
