Full Time Position/Recreation Therapist Available

Archcare at the Kateri Residence, a long term and sub acute skilled nursing

facility on Manhattan's Upper West Side,is in need of a full time Recreation

Therapist. The weekly schedule will be: Tuesday - Saturday, possible evening

hours 1x week. The ability to design and present activities programs to various

levels of ability is necessary, as is flexibility, team participation, and

implementation of new concepts. As part of an interdisciplinary team, knowledge

of MDS, individualized care planning, and Sigmacare is helpful, however,

training will be provided. A BA in rec therapy, or any of the creative arts is

the minimum requirement. Successful candidate will receive 1199 benefits.
