My 16 mos. old daughter starts a nursery school program this summer. Our one-of-a-kind nanny Betty Lovell has taken care of her since she was 3 mos. old. Betty will be available for a full or part time job beginning Mon, July 9. Betty is seeking a 40hr/wk position or she can do part time, such as 3 days/wk (flexible).

Professional – Betty is a career nanny and knows far more about raising children than I did as a first time mother. She offers her input, but always defers to our preferences – team effort. Betty keeps a notebook on Margaret every single day, so when I come home from work I can read about her moods, meals, naps and activity. Often it’s Betty who notices and appropriately addresses a stage in Margaret’s development before we do. I have learned a great deal from her. I believe in schedules – Betty had Margaret on a nap and eating routine immediately.

Perfect Attendance – Betty has called in sick only one day in the 14 months we’ve employed her. She was on time every day.

Easygoing– Betty is easygoing and we enjoy having her in our home and as a part of our family.

Books, Outdoors, Playdates, Music (No TV ever) - Everyone notices how much my daughter loves to read to herself and be read to. I credit Betty who read to her throughout the day from the time she was 3 mos. old! When it’s not ugly weather, Betty has our daughter in the park and at the playground as much as possible. She also coordinates play dates with our neighbors. She ends the day with children’s music.

Neat & Clean – Betty keeps both Margaret and our apt. spotless. She is not there to clean house, but she always leaves things neater than she found them.

Excellent References – Betty worked for one family with 3 children for 13 years. Every reference was positive.
