Mental Health Practitioners

The Department is actively soliciting nominations for individuals interested in appointment as a professional or public member of the State Board for Mental Health Practitioners. Professional members must be licensed as a mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, creative arts therapist or psychoanalyst. Public members must be consumers of professional mental health services and may not hold interests in the organization, financing, or delivery of mental health services. Applications for board membership may be submitted directly by interested individuals, or nominations may come from colleagues, consumer groups, professional associations, or others.
