Went to Spine Specialist yesterday.......

He was AWESOME!

We talked about my back & sysmptoms & what my main concern is now.

I let him know that I have been having Severe siatiac pain with numbness down

left leg and this is now month 3. Let him know that my PCP keeps brushing me off

& I am tired of the pain. He is very concerned that I may have a herniated or

ruptured disc and stated this can be a very serious thing if not treated

correctly because if my TSC..

I am set for an MRI on Friday and a follow up with him on the 23rd. He placed me

on prednisone for this one week and stated we will review the MRI on Thurs. He

also stated that if this IS the disc.. and depending on how bad, he wants to try

everything else before doing any type of surgery. (Cortizone shots? OUCH!)

Has anyone else experienced this?
