Discussion will focus on the Global Water Dances that have been taking place in more than 46 countries, raising consciousness about environmental issues and bringing people together to problem-solve solutions for global challenges such as safe drinking water. Eddy is also the co-founder and director of Somatic Studies at Moving On Center: School of Participatory Arts and Research in Oakland, California and The Center for Kinesthetic Education. McKinney also co-directed, with the Design Trust for Public Space, the award-winning publication Design Manual for 21st Century Parks and was a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1994. The discussion is followed by former Cunningham company dancers Collwes and Emma Desjardins: duets from Xover (2007) and Fractions (2004) and solos from CRWDSPCR (2003) and Nearly Ninety (2009).
