I love EATING watermelons, but they don't love me. Have aniphilactic attacks over those babies ((((sigh))))!

My watermelon.............

has developed siblings! Two more have come up ! It was a nice surprise checking the pot this am and finding 3 watermelon plants. The oldest has two sets of leaves now .

How are our other gardeners doing? Topper?Bob? others?

I Love spring! The Magnolias are in bloom now, such a lovely sight, and all the varieties of wildflowers.

Hugs,

Feisty

This morning, I noticed even more shoots coming up!

Hey, Topper----- can the sprouts be eaten like radish sprouts or alfalfa?

Hey, just got me to thinking... for anyone that like pea pods.. or snow peas.. have you tried mung bean sprouts? They taste just like pea pods.. I used to eat them as a snack, plain, right out of the bowl... I can get the seeds from out local co op and sprout them myself.. I used to sell sprouts, BTW, one of my flea market ventures.. over 20 varieties of sprouts....

Like... fennel sprouts taste just like celery.. so you can mix up some fennel sprouts with your other sprouts and have a touch of celery taste on a sandwich or in a salad... Radish.. tastes like radish.. Red Clover tastes better than alfalfa.... but alfalfa has high protein....
