Cara & Deniz

Authentic Movement Group

September – December 2012

Authentic

Movement is the simple practice of freely moving from and following one’s inner

impulses while being witnessed in a non-judgmental and empathic way.  The

practice of Authentic Movement supports one’s health, creativity and

relationships and is a way of getting in touch with oneself on a deeper

level.  Additionally, Authentic Movement will allow one to create a space

in one’s “plugged-in” life for quiet listening to what one needs, desires and

intuitively knows.

Sessions

are lead by two experienced Dance Movement Therapists and Authentic Movement

Practitioners; Cara Gallo, M.S. BC-DMT/LCAT and Deniz Oktay, M.S. BC-DMT/LCAT.

Sessions

are held on Thursday evenings. Dates are as follows:

9/6,

9/20, 10/4, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/13 and 12/27

from

7-9 pm, at the Institute for the Arts in Psychotherapy, 526 W.26th

Street, Suite #309, NYC, NY.

Price

per session is $70 and $560 for the semester.  Student rate is $50 per session.  Members pay for their place in the group and are asked to

pay for the semester.  Payment

arrangements can be set up (i.e. pay as you go etc).

Interested,
