Welsh, Ed.D., BC-DMT, NCC, LCAT, LMHCContemplation is archetypal and finds its way into all healing modalities, arts, and religions, plus many cultural activities. In this new course we will explore ancient and modern circumstances of contemplation, both experientially and theoretically, to enhance our understanding and acceptance of the depths of ourselves, others, and the experiences of being human. We will dance, practice authentic movement, and yoga while connecting what we’re doing to theories of dance therapy, Jungian depth psychology, basic neuroscience, philosophies of non-dualism, and the teachings of the pioneers of early Modern Dance, especially Isadora Duncan and Ruth St. Denis. As a part of the week, we will create a Thursday evening “Living Dance Kinections Celebration of the Summer Solstice.” Other June Courses at KinectionsPsychomotor Therapy Liljan Espenak’s Approach to Dance/Movement TherapyJune 8-10Nana Koch, Ed.D., ADTR, LCAT, NCC, LPC, CMADMT Theory and Practice I: Foundations and Principles of Dance/Movement TherapyJune 12 - June 16le Fraenkel, Ph.D., BC-DMT, NCC, LCAT, LMHC, CGPRochester in the spring and summer is delightful.
