Dear All:I am very pleased to share with you that the 2nd International Health Humanities Conference that took place from August 9 to 11, 2012, at Montclair State University, was a resounding success! Our attendees represented a most impressive group of scholars, students, and practitioners from various fields of the arts, humanities, and human health services. Numerous important and lasting connections were made among attendees, and some new, important pathways have been established for future developing ways of understanding and implementing music in the service of humanity. We will explore the publication of our conference proceedings, while looking forward to the 3rd International Health Humanities Conference, featuring theme, "Envisioning the Health Humanities: Film, Media, and the Visual Arts."
