NAMI Walk THIS Saturday!

Dear Drama Therapists: 

The NAMI walk is just two short days away, and I have some information for you all.  Firstly, the NADT Tri-State Chapter team has raised a whopping $3,238! Amazing! If you're still interested in donating, please go to our team website, choose a walker that you would like to donate through (it can be anyone), click " sponsor me now, " and donate away. It would be pretty exciting to make it to $3,500.

 

Secondly, for those of you who have been considering coming to the event, but have been hesitant to make the commitment, here is some information you need to know if you think that you might be joining us on Saturday.

 

Meeting Location: We are planning to meet as a team at 9am in the lobby of 83 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038. Take the 2, 3 or A, C train to Fulton st. Exit out of the st side then take a left on to st. Go down the hill and make another left on Maiden Lane.

Registered s: All s are required to be registered in order to walk. We did not know this before. So please make sure that all your significant others, friends, family members, etc. who plan on walking are registered on our team website. It's quick, it's easy. It will save a lot of hassle when we sign in at the walk. ALSO, s registered online should print out their walker page or registration email confirmation so they can speed through the Check-in Lane.

T-Shirts: Please come with either a check or $15 in cash to buy your Drama Therapy t-shirt.  If you have not yet told me your t-shirt size please contact me ASAP so we can reserve one for you. Also, please remind any people walking with you that they too will need to buy a shirt. Let me know their sizes as well!

IMPORTANT WALK DAY INFORMATION

 

 

 

- Registration is from 9:00 to 10:00 am.

 

 

 

- All s are required to be registered in order to walk.

 

 

 

- s Registered online should print out their walker page or registration email confirmation so they can speed through the Check-in Lane

- s with out pre-registration forms or who have not yet registered, will use the

Registration Lane

and registration paperwork will be available to fill out.

 

 

 

-  NAMIWalks NYC provides a meeting area for your Team! After Check-in/Registration, walkers will proceed to the Team Meeting Area. Teams will be listed in alphabetical order.

 

 

 

- The Walk Begins and ends at the

South Street

Seaport/Pier 16, located at the intersection of South and Fulton Streets.

 

 

 

- Transportation: Take the 2,3,4,6,J,Z to

Fulton St.

, A,C to Broadway-Nassau, E towardsFulton St.or Path to WorldTradeCenter

 

 

 

- Parking: There are pay-parking lots within a three block radius of the Seaport

 

 

 

- Bring: A light jacket, sun screen, hat and umbrella (if it looks like rain).

 

 

 

- Remember to stick around for the Post-Walk Wellness Fair, offering free Massage, Basic Health Screenings, Raffle Prizes, and more!
