I received an email tonight, which suggested I may have offended a segment of the population, lesbian women, through not addressing the title of the group I am co-facilitating, as Heterosexual 40+ Single women. And there was a concern that I implied in the chosen population that only heterosexual women contend with these issues. And I suppose I can broaden that, as it could also be implied that we are suggesting it is not an issue with which men also contend.I deeply, and sincerely, apologize if I have in any way offended anyone. It was not, nor would it ever be, my intent. There are a variety of reasons my partner in this project, and I, have chosen this segment of the market for this particular group; however, it in no way is intended to suggest that only heterosexual women are dealing with relational issues, nor that we will not create additional series of workshops for a broader population. And if the title mislead anyone, I again apologize.Additional feedback is welcome - positive and negative (as are referrals). This is a pilot program, we are learning and it's not always smooth.Thank you so much.
