Guest guest
Hi Barb, Thank You so much for the e-card. I'm sorry no one has posted back to you. You are so welcome here. You'll see everyone here is in the same boat. How long have you had IPF ? I am not on and anything but wellbutrin and oxygen 24/7 , I have just increased to 3 L in the house unless I'll be trying to do something I go to 4L. I have decided this is all a LARGE PAIN. Well Hon. Hang in there. Just post and you will get answers. God Bless and Keep You.. Peggy
Guest guest
Hi, Peggy. Glad you liked the e-card. I have no idea how long I have had this disease because my doctor kept treating me for bronchitis. Have had problems with shortness of breath for about two years now. Had a terrible cough for the longest time. I would cough so much, I would throw up. Eventually, my bladder couldn't handle it and would gush. So, I wear depends undewear for protection. My cough disappeared for a few months but is coming back again. My biopsy was about six months ago. Is chest pain related to this disease? I have started having troubles with my heart fluttering and speeding up. Is this any indication on how far along I am with this disease? My saturation level is about 80 without oxygen and about 95 with oxygen. Do you have any idea what I may experience next? Thanks for writing me back. If anyone reading this has answers to my questions, will you please post. Thank you. BarbPeggy wrote: Hi Barb, Thank You so much for the e-card. I'm sorry no one has posted backto you. Guest guest
Barbara: My wife has heart flutters. She is or was a nurse. She has to wear a monitor every so often. She says it is called april fibs. She says they do not know what causes her condition. That's what the monitor is for. Trying to catch something happening. I am a heart patient. Started having heart attacks Dec 1990. Had to quit work and retire. Had one in Dec 90--another May 91--Bypass in 95--Now this. I have had cloudy exrays for years, and I wonder why my doctors waited this long to send me to the lung man. They knew I was having trouable breathing. I thought it was because I was fat and old. Go get your ox meter. You know that low ox will damage your heart. (grey) Re: Hi Barb Hi, Peggy. Glad you liked the e-card.
