Guest guest
Hi all! I work in a hospital with a bunch of Social Workers (non-LCATs) and every March (for Social Work month) I am asked to do an activity with the Social Workers in my unit. This activity should be something to help them relax as well as teach them something they may be able to incorporate into their work with patients. So far I have done: 1) Motivation/Visualization Collage Boards 2) Mandalas 3) Emerging butterflies (write on a paper what helps you be the person you want to be and wrap in yarn to form a cocoon. Attach the cocoon to a branch and attach an emerging butterfly. Hang in a visible place to remind yourself of the tools you have/need) Any suggestions for what to do this year? Thanks, Meredith
Guest guest
How about something with music- I have previously done a group- mostly verbal with social workers and residents discussing favorite songs from specific life periods, but since you identified relaxation, maybe doing a brief guided imagery exercise could be included.shariSubject: activity suggestions? To: NYCCAT Date: Monday, January 30, 2012, 9:13 PM Hi all!
