I cant seem to kick these stupid infections..or now I seem to be ok..but that's cause I still have the anti in my system. I see my dr on Wed and I'm not sure if I should start a dose of Arithro..on Monday..or wait and hope my sputum doesn't turn color.. Guest guest Posted March 25, 2007 Report Share Posted March 25, 2007 I've been able (thank the good Lord) to go 5 weeks without an antibiotic...I see my lung dr. this Wed. also. He has me taking Levoquin for 14 days, then the next day, Azrithromycin 1 per day, every other day for three days....he said if possible, stretch out the time between anti's as long as I can. I too keep watch on sputum ... I've taken the probiotics regularly and they seem to be helping. It was thru this group I learned the importance of taking them regularly. I go thru the anxious episodes too when I finish an antibiotic ... that's when I tell myself that God knows and He will take care of me. Shall go for now, I leave for church in about 30 minutes. Also that description of how the inhaler works confirms for me why Dr won't let me use it due to increased blood flow it may cause. The highest it's ever gone was 108 when I was in the coma ... my husband told me they packed me in ice to bring it down.
