Tell me about it. I've just come back from Spain which is somewhat behind the rest of Western Europe in banning smoking. Their idea of a ban was to let individual bars and cafes decide whether to allow smoking or not. If they do, they have to display a sign that says 'you can smoke but it's bad for your health and the health of those around you'. As if that's going to stop someone smoking...

That would be awsome! LOL i dont feel bad for smokers that dont usually feel bad for us asthmatics and nonsmokers! They CHOSE to put that nasty stuff into their bodies but we shouldnt have to breathe it in because of THEIR choices. It would be nice if CA does this then other states follow! Sorry but this is a huge issue for me and i do know how tough it can be to quit as my DH used to smoke, but when i got pg with my oldest he quit cold trukey THAT DAY and put his mind to it that it was unhealthy not only for me but for our kids and he hasnt smoked in over 14 yrs now. If he can do it, others can. i DETEST smoking! GROSS!

I have no problem if the governor signs the bill in Californiaprohibiting outdoor smoking in State owned facilities. California doeshave the right to regulate the use of it's beaches. However I do feel alittle sorry for the smokers. It's a terrible addiction.>>>>>>> info - California>>> Outdoor smoking bans>>>>>http://www.latimes. com/features/ health/la- he-closer- 20100405, 0,2110899. s\tory>>>>>>> Alana>
