Guest guest
The DIR floor time model was utilized with art therapists at School for children with ASD. I interned there. My colleague Jenna Hartom wrote about it in her Pratt thesis which you can find in the Pratt library. My former supervisor Dana Whiddon is foremost leader on this subject. You can outreach her via this forum. Niceley Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone out there has been doing or knows of any current research that is being done with art therapy and children who have autism. I am looking for good resources to do some research about the use of art therapy to help promote receptive and expressive language with children who are on the autistic spectrum. Are there any techniques that have been successful? Any information that anyone can pass along would be great. Thanks in advance for any help. Feel free to email me off list at kjr78@...Thanks again,Kim RoppoloPS. I sent this out again because I realized that the first email did not have a subject. Sorry!!
