NADT Tri-State Chapter Team for NAMI Walks 2012!

Hello Drama Therapists and Creative Arts Therapists alike, 

 

Wow, do we have something exciting for you coming up in May! We just had a wonderful NADT event with a panel of sex therapists which drew a great audience with fantastic questions. We want to keep the spirit rolling and invite YOU to our next event.

 

On Saturday, May 12th the NADT Tri-State Chapter will be participating in the NAMI Walks 2012 New York City walk.  Each year the National Alliance on Mental Illness hosts this walk to support mental health by reducing the stigma associated with mental illness and raise funds for NAMI's free support and education programs for families and individuals living with mental illness.

 

We at the NADT Tri-State Chapter feel that not only is such an event a great way to give visibility to drama therapy and the greater creative arts therapy field, but we feel that it is a wonderful and important way to show support for the clients we work with every day.  Our fundraising goal is set at $1000 and with your help we are confident that we can surpass our goal.  So please consider joining our team, raising some funds for NAMI, and showing pride for your profession and your clients.
