Guest guest
Hello all, Please note that, through Friday, June 15th, we can have an input on the changes being made to diagnoses in the DSM V (see below and link), and that if adopted as is, almost 50% of children on the autism spectrum will be denied early intervention services (Please see attachment)! Many thanks for anything you may wish to do!! Did you know you can tell the authors of the DSM V what you think of their proposed changes to any and all diagnoses until June 15?!! Check out the stuff about bereavement and depression, the autistic spectrum controversy and gender issues are being changed too... It's coming out finally in about a year from now.Natasha Shapiro, ATR-BC, LCATthe website is:http://www.dsm5.org/Pages/Default.aspx
