We are soliciting resumes for a full-time Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist

in Acute Inpatient Psychiatry at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Come join our dynamic team of 13 Creative Arts Therapists in providing group

psychotherapy and group activities to our five inpatient psychiatric units. The

position we will be posting is a full-time, Tuesday through Saturday position

with 60% of your time spent on our 24-bed Child/Adolescent Inpatient Psych Unit

and 40% of the time devoted to our 25-bed General Adult Inpatient Psych Unit.

One weekday will include some evening hours. We are looking for clinicians that

are flexible, inventive, and interested in exploring the specific challenges and

rewards of pursuing creative arts therapy work in an inpatient environment.

We are particularly interested in recruiting a music, dance or art therapist for

this position. Peer and individual clinical supervision provided beyond state

requirements; all applicants must either have their LCAT or be eligible to apply

for a limited LCAT permit at date of hire. Psychotherapists working under

another license with certification from a national CAT organization will also be

considered.

Great location on the Upper East Side by Central Park, good benefits.

If you have previously applied for a position at MSH, please email with your

interest and updated resume/contact info.
