Hi, I would like to know the salary range. As I maybe interested to commute daily.

I am leaving this position, and wanted to spread the news to Art Therapists who might be interested/suited to the job.

The position:

Supervisor of Therapeutic Recreation,

Inpatient Psychiatry

Saint ph's Medical Center, Yonkers, NY

Requirements: LCAT, 3 years of experience working in psychiatry, supervisory experience ideal

The position involves working on an intermediate length of stay unit with a seriously and persistently mentally ill population. It is a program based on behavioral incentives/behavioral modification.

It involves running a variety of groups, including:

art therapy, arts and crafts, social skills, recreation, stress management, creative writing, music groups, among others.

The position also involves supervising two recreation therapists on a separate general acute psychiatric unit, managing a budget, overseeing programming.
