Guest guest
Just wanted to follow up. I did go see Dr. Launius today and was glad I went. I have vitamin D deficiency and iron deficiency that he wants to treat before I begin thyroid meds again. He thinks that is why I had the terrible reaction. He felt I may handle Synthroid better due to my good converting and bc of Armour's higher T3 ratio. i just have a sensitive system apparently So I start synthroid 100 in a few weeks. Thanks for all who recommended and for the posts! amber > > Hi all....I am a 32 yo Hashimoto's recent diagnosis. I was prescribed Armour, 30 mg, and took it yesterday and this morning. I feel so bad! I am getting really winded and having a high pulse, and have had diarrhea and a mild headache for both days. I am wondering, is this normal and I will adjust, so should I just give it time and cope, or should I call the doctor to lower the dose? I really dont want to even take it tomorrow, but was hoping some of you had similar experience or some knowledge. I am a little afraid I screwed myself up > Also, my prescribing dr. is nice, but I feel like might not be so experienced. She was a little too open to my ideas I like to be listened to, but I felt as if I were leading her. any experienced drs with Hashi's? I live in Denton. thanks so so much for any advice!!! >
